A Manhood Study Based On The Lord’s Prayer

Dr. Mark Strong, along with his wife Marla have served as the Senior Pastors of Life Change Church in Portland Oregon since 1988. Life Change is the same church where Dr. Mark came to faith in Christ at 19 years old. Life Change is a multi-ethnic church that is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus to the city of Portland. One of the miracles that Jesus performed in his life was giving him the ability to pursue higher education. Before his commitment to Christ, he didn’t do well in school. Mark now holds an Associate Degree from Portland Community College, a B.A. in Speech Communications from Portland State University, a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Western Evangelical Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in Leadership from George Fox Seminary In addition, he serves on the Board of Regents for George Fox Seminary and speaks at colleges, schools, seminaries and churches nationwide. Dr. Strong is also the chairman of 11:45 an organization that works extensively with other social agencies to help youth who are gang affected, fatherless and disenfranchised. He has received the Medal of Commendation and other awards and is the author of Church for the Fatherless. The Kingdom of God is the first and best government for mankind. Every man should surrender to the King and give up his own kingdom rights, but it isn’t easy. Dr. Christian Overman is the Founding Director of Worldview Matters and has taught audiences throughout the United States, as well as in Central America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Chris Nichols serves as Vice President of Sequoyah Electric’s Special Projects division in Redmond WA. He daily leads an impressive group of dedicated employees serving the electrical construction, service, and repair requirements of many of Seattle’s top companies. Chris earned his Business Degree from Trinity Western University in British Columbia in 2002 and immediately went to work in the electrical industry, occupying multiple positions to shape his experience. At Sequoyah, Chris is extremely proud of the projects and recognition the company has garnered over its history, including being named by Seattle Business Magazine as one of Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2014 and 2015. Chapter Seven

Forgive Us Our Sins As We Forgive Those Who Sin Against Us

We need cleansing of our ongoing sins or debts against others, even if we have already prayed and received salvation. There is an ongoing masculine duty to rightly order all our relationships so God can use us for His Kingdom. Dick Cinkovich teaches about the duty of our debt and why good men need to submit to authority, or they will have to pay a debt to society such as jail!

Dick Cinkovich has been active in leadership and volunteerism most of his life. Dick was born and raised in Auburn, WA graduating from Auburn High School in 1972, attended Green River Community College and the University of Washington. In 1985 a visit to a former Auburn High School basketball teammate serving time at McNeil Island Penitentiary set in motion a series of events resulting in full time work as the Washington Area Director for Prison Fellowship Ministries, Executive Director of M2 Job Therapy of Snohomish County and now as Executive Director of Conviction Careers. Dick has a successful business history in real estate and sales, served on several local and state boards and committees as a member in non-profit organizations, local human service organizations, government advisory committees and policy boards. He considers his regular visits to the prisons in Washington State as the foundational, stabilizing factor to all his community and non-profit work. He lives in Bothell Washington with his wife Ruth, Special Olympics Gold Medalist daughter Amy and golden lab, Daisy. Two daughters, their husbands and three grandsons also live in the area.
